When eating eggs, get rid of the yolk and eat the whites only. The yolk contains a lot of fat and cholesterol and does not represent a good nutritional choice. The egg whites will provide you with much needed protein.
Cut your caffeine intake for better weight loss. It has been proven that caffeine reduces your chances of burning fat.
Rather than eating big meals three times daily, consider six smaller ones. This keeps you from feeling hungry and helps you avoid large portions when you eat. This helps you eat less calories each day so you can reach your fitness goals.
Walnuts can help you fight cravings and lose weight. It has been studied and found that individuals that have walnuts with their first meal of the day will feel full for a while longer than those who skip the walnuts. Walnuts are also a delicious and healthy snack.
Yogurt is a great snack to have when trying to lose weight. Make sure you select a low fat product or a plain yogurt. Along with a freshly sliced cucumber and some salt and pepper for seasoning, plain yogurt is the perfect ingredient for a crisp, refreshing salad. To avoid extra sugar in yogurt, buy plain yogurt and mix fresh fruit into it instead of buying flavored yogurt. Yogurt is high in calcium, making it a low calorie snack that is really healthy too.
You will lose more weight by staying away from lat night snacks. Food doesn’t metabolize well at night, so late-night eating is worse than eating throughout the day. Cutting out late-night dinners and midnight snacks can help you lose weight quicker.
